FLEXTEX excels at providing high quality fiberglass gasket rope, fiberglass tapes and braided sleeving to a global marketplace. Our specialty is the custom braiding of various traditional and exotic high temperature materials to provide innovative solutions for unusual and demanding applications.

FLEXTEX, in a joint technical venture with EM Solutions, is the exclusive North American distributor for Shieldron Conductive fabrics. The Shieldron process uses a unique Tri-Clad plating method to adhere metal permanently to an underlying matrix (fabric). The process chemically bonds copper, nickel, or copper/nickel to the surface of the entire fabric. The metallized surface has “elastic”-like properties equal to those of an untreated fabric. The forces of constant tension, flexing, extension, and compaction, which are typical of industrial applications, do not adversely affect the conductivity of Shieldron.

FLEXTEX conductive fabric can be used wherever electromagnetic interference is possible. The fabric can be made into gaskets, used for architectural shielding, made into conductive tapes, or any other application where a light flexible conductive material is required.
